Single Ring Hobbles 1 1/2" - Leather

We make these hobbles from heavy Hermann Oak Old World Harness leather. They are 1 1/2 inches wide and around 44 inches long with a stainless steel buckle and  stainless ring riveted together with solid #8 copper rivets. These hobbles are normally put on the front off-side leg first by running the billet (or tail end) through the ring and then making a wrap around the near side leg. Check out the photo to show you how they work - if put on properly it's pretty hard for a horse to slip out of these hobbles. The single ring hobbles are real handy to have as they are basic, strong and supple as well. Hang them off your saddle or they can double as a work belt.
