Heavy Harness Reins 5/8"

These are the ultimate in leather reins. We make these reins here in the Bethel Saddlery saddle shop and they are are all 'pair matched' which means they are cut side by side to provide a perfect balanced feel with naturally weighted ends. The leather is the heaviest harness leather that is produced by Hermann Oak Tannery in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. They are 5/8 inch wide and are a minimum of 7 feet long. We round all the edges of the reins and they are then hand-rubbed and slicked to give a lovely mellow feel. The slobber (bit) straps are attached by traditional latigo tie straps which allows for an easy change if required.
